These days Google Doodle has a tradition of marking significant historical or current actual events on their search page in different countries. Depending on the market, users see a localized version of Google Doodle, and today the search giant has a message for customers from Croatia.
If you visit today. October 8th, you will be greeted by a Google.hr Doodle dedicated to Croatian Independence Day.

This is not the first time however that Google had on its home page something "Croatian". We recently had a birthday Doodle dedicated to a character from a story written by the great Croatian writer, Miroslav Krleža, as well as a 2006 Doodle with the Croatian National Football Team theme, which can be seen below.
