Ivo Josipović Officially Inaugurated As 3rd President Of The Republic of Croatia

Well today Ivo Josipovic was officially inaurgerated the President of the Republic of Croatia.  He is only the 3rd President to be voted into office since Croatia officially became independant in 1991.  I've decided not to get in depth regarding this event. He's going to have a lot of work to do and it's pointless conjecturing at this point in time as to what he will/wont accomplish. I already let some of my views regarding his success in being elected, and the accompanying political mudslinging that was involved in the campaigns HERE.

He now has a 5 year mandate, and he will be pulling the strings during some very important political decisions that need to be made, mainly regarding the closing of the few remaining  E.U. accession chapters.  He has the approval of the Croatian people, after recieiveing about 60.3% of the vote.  Now he will have to work with the Hrvatski Sabor (Croatian Assembly), and with Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor. A lot of work to do. It's going to be a very interesting next 5 years. Thats about all I have to say right now. My sources in Croatia keep me up to date with inside info, so I'll make future posts about Ivo when required.

Video of the Inaugaration (If you look carefully, at the 44 sec. mark, one can obviously see Ivo was trying to keep the gates of Hell closed...for just a little bit longer...buhuhahahaa!)
