American Indie Rockers 'The National' Record a Promo Video with a Croatian Flag

This is kind of interesting. I've never heard of this band, (I guess not listening to mainstream radio or top 40 might be a factor, I get most of my music from other sources/sites) but they seem to be kind of popular.  Anway, you can read the article I translated below.

After a great concert at Zagrebs 'Dom Boćarskog', where they delighted the audience, the American rockers have decided to advance a new version of the album with a promo video recorded in front of the Croatian flag: see video

About two weeks ago the American indie rock band 'The National' held a concert in Zagreb, and their fans were more than pleased and pointed out that this was one of the best concerts to be seen in recent years.

It seems that the rockers from The National thought so also, who started off writing on their web site that the Zagreb audience is one of the best they have ever performed live for. Also these days they are releasing a promotional video that they filmed - in front of the Croatian flag. In fact, today (November 26th) they announced a new expanded version of their acclaimed album "High Violet", which Q Magazine declared the best album of 2010. So it was in one of the rooms of the club where they performed, 'Dom Boćarskog' that they recorded a short promo spot in which they tried to explain what makes the new version better than the regular album.

How is it that they decided to pose in front of the Croatian flag though? Apparently, it wasn't originally planned, but when the members of the band found it displayed in the room, they thought it would be apropos to have them in front of it, as a way to thank their fans. Watch the video:
