Francis Ford Coppla Visits Croatia's Walled City Of Dubrovnik

Another celebrity type post, but this one is probably a little more recognizable to people. Legendary director, producer and screen writer  Francis Ford Coppola just recently arrived to the Croatian coast, to the famous walled city of Dubrovnik. I've mentioned on previous posts about the amount of world famous celebrities that come annually, especially the summer months, to various locations along the Croatain coast or one of the many islands. I'm a big fan of his movies so doing this one was no problem. (Martin Scorsese is high on my list among the great ones too, both directors making films around the same time that are cinematic masterpieces.  Just too many great films over the years to choose a favourite)

I decided to add below also a short excerpt from "Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse" An insightful behind the scenes look at the production of his award winning film "Apocalypse Now" If you haven't seen this, then try to watch the whole documentary to gain insight into the making of this groundbreaking film.  A lot of interesting eye opening information and insight into the making of the movie. Also, I know Francis is a big fan of Marlon Brando, (Always a big fan since seeing "Mutiny on the Bounty" as a kid)...as myself.  The Academy Award winning film "The Godfather" netted Francis Ford Coppola "Best Picture" and Marlon the "Best Actor" awards.....
