American singer Bruce Springsteen suprised the Croatian public at his latest concert in neighbouring Italy on Monday night when he took to the stage and shouted "Dobra vecer Croatia, kako ste!'(Good evening Croatia, how are you).

The Boss was performing at the Nereo Rocco stadium in Trieste, Italy as part of his tour promoting his latest album 'Wrecking Ball"!.

Bruce Springsteen and his management were so impressed with the amount of fans that travelled from nearby Croatia to the concert that he decided to learn a few Croatian phrases backstage before performing, reported RTL television.

The Croatians went wild when 'The Boss' took to the stage and began talking to the crowd in Croatian. Springsteen continues his tour in Madrid, Spain on 17 June.

At the start of the concert, at about the 2 minute mark is when he says "Dobra večer Croatia, kako ste?" (Good evening Croatia, how are you?)

At the beginning here he mentions Croatia again before continuing with Italian. A nice gesture for all the fans that traveled across the border for the concert.
