Depeche Mode To Make 4th Stop In Croatia In 2013

Good news for the music/concert scene next summer in Croatia as Depeche Mode today announced a stop in Zagreb again for their 2013 world tour.  With this news coming out today, this will probably be "THE" concert to see next summer in Zagreb.  This will be the 4th time that the band will play in Croatia, this time at the large outdoor Hipodrom (*Update-concert relocated to Maksimir Stadium, something about making it an all stadium tour or something). Their last time in Zagreb included playing to a sold out 20,000 plus crowd at Arena Zagreb. You can read more about that concert on a previous post HERE.

Health problems of lead singer David Gahan caused their 2009 "Sounds of the Universe"  world tour concert for Zagreb to be cancelled, but they came back as promised and performed on Valentines Day in 2010.  This upcoming world tour will be in support of their 13th studio album which will be released sometime after the new year.  I had a chance to listen to the sneak peak untitled track from the forthcoming new album,....sounds different, yet cool.  Reminds me of some Nine Inch Nails material... (Even front man Trent Reznor of NIN has stated that DM was a big influence on him btw)....
