Croatian Smartphone Brand NOA Officially Opens First Store In Ireland

Here's some interesting recent news about a topic I've touched upon previously. Shoppers in Dublin Ireland were recently shocked as Irish society was turned upside down practically overnight by finding out that Croatian smart phones and televisions were now being sold in a local mall. According to media reports local shoppers had for weeks been under the impression that a KFC, Taco Bell, soccer jerseys shop or some sort of popcorn and peanuts and refreshments store was going to open at the location, but it turned out to be something else entirely.

Yep, Croatian smart phones, smart televisions, tablets and other related devices and accessories. Over the past few years the Croatian IT company "Hangar18" and their NOA brand has been a growing presence in the domestic market (behind only Apple and Samsung in phone sales) as well as some other countries in Europe including Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, Vojvodina and a number of others, so it's not really that surprising actually, the Croatian NOA brand even won the prestigious EISA Best Buy Smartphone Awards in 2017 and 2018, (more about that below), so they're not some pieces of shit phones and are actually good quality with excellent after purchase extended support and a full coverage 2 year guarantee. But as for the NOA store opening after-effect repercussions and the ultimate consequences for the country, society and especially the League of Ireland Premier Division and the Irish Rowing team in the future, that will remain to be seen. Anyway all the info is in the article.

*And since there's also some other recent news about the Rimac Concept_2 all-electric hypercar (which just finished showing at the Geneva International Auto Show and is about to showcase at the New York International Auto Show) and some more Include Steora news with smart benches being exported to Slovenia and France now, about 125 benches in total, I reposted some previous background information about those topics also, you can find out more about their latest happenings at the links.

Croatian brand NOA opens very first store in Ireland, one of 15 planned for the country.

Koprivnica Croatia, 16 April 2019 – The first NOA "brand shop" has been opened in Ireland, in one of the largest shopping centers in Northern Dublin, Swords Pavilions. With the goal of making the NOA product family and NOA Premium Care guarantee accessible to interested customers, NOA has offered on the Irish market a large part of the NOA product assortment: NOA mobile phones, NOA Vision TV sets, NOA tablets, and the NOAline lifestyle accessories brand.

The Swords Pavilion shopping center is visited on a yearly basis by more than 20 million visitors, and is located 10 kilometers north of Dublin center, only 5 minutes away from the airport. The NOA brand store is on the ground floor of the center, taking up 15 m2.

NOA store offers smartphones from the NOA Element series: N10, winner of the EISA Best Buy 2018-2019 award, N7, P1, N1, H10, H10le, N2, N5, N5se, N8, and N2. From the NOA Core series VIVO 4G, L11se, L12, T12se, and SWING are available. The NOA Vision TV brand line has 32” and 43” models available, and the NOA tablet brand has the M701K model as its representative.

NOA smart devices have intrigued the visitors, which had the chance to test the assorted products and their functionalities. During the opening event, a special discount was given to all customers.

"We are very excited that we’ve managed to open our first Dublin store, and we are very happy that we are going to be able to offer NOA smart devices to our Irish customers," said Tihana Magdić, Country manager for the Irish market.

This newly opened store is the first from a total of 100 planned in the EU, and from the 15 planned in Ireland. NOA has become a recognized brand in Europe and further, and will continue exporting and opening new markets in the following period.

Recent groovy beats promos for the latest "Element" models NOA N20 and NOA P1 series phones.

Croatian Clean Technology Smart Benches Placed At One Of Greece’s Oldest Educational Institutions

It's great to see that this recent good news story and topic is moving forward and expanding, from literally tinkering around in the garage just a few years ago to then mainly exporting to a few other Central European countries to now exporting these top of the line advanced smart benches to countries around the world. And if Greece's Hellenic Naval Cadets Academy is installing these Croatian smart benches on their property, then they're probably not some shitty piece of crap benches, same goes for some other higher profile locations shown below.

In a way, this new company "Include" has quite literally put Croatia on the map practically overnight as a clean/green tech smart bench center and even as a Croatian mecca for the new technology/bench sector. How so?, well from being a country with no smart benches or history or any bench exports at all to being a leader in the smart bench technology sector, a literal smart bench desert just a few years ago but now even getting awards, accolades and praise from other larger many years established world companies and organizations. Obviously not on the scale of other larger Croatian companies (some which manufacture container and passenger ships, yachts, ferries, patrol boats, buses (aka CROBUS), electric trams and trains, world renowned high performance all-electric hypercars, drivetrains and battery systems etc), but then again the company and products are very new, and all the while importantly contributing to the future clean and green "smart cities" framework concept which is the new coming reality, well that's something better than a lot of stuff in the news these days. (Last week the Royal town of Slaný, located in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic and Jaffa Port in Tel Aviv, Israel also had benches installed).

The few sites I quickly checked out also reported that the Greeks users really like the concept, convenience and technological features of the benches (a few examples but you'll have to read it in Greek or just look at the pictures), just as at the other locations where they've been installed, with many hoping that one will be installed near where they live, so that's good to know. Luckily I already touched upon the topic previously and so I just reposted that below which has more information and media about the recently formed Croatian company "Include" and their growing line of various smart/green/clean technology benches. More information also available at their official links below...

Croatian smart bench firm Include has started 2019 like it ended 2018, by placing more of their products around the globe.

The company confirmed on Wednesday that one of Greece’s oldest educational institutions has placed their first smart benches. Hellenic Naval Cadets Academy are the latest to adopt Include’s popular Steora smart benches.

Include says that they have sold 39 benches to their partners in Greece which have 28 benches already installed around the country, including at the Hellenic Naval Cadets Academy.

Founded by young innovator Ivan Mrvoš in Solin near the city of Split on the Croatian coast, Include has quickly become one of Europe’s leading producers of smart street furniture with over 855 smart benches now in 250 cities on 5 continents.

Include are also involved in many major ‘Smart City’ projects and late last year launched a brand new product – Monna cycling point – which is a solar-powered point with multiple functionalities – bike racks and electrical sockets for charging electric bicycles, bike repairing tools, wireless charging pad and charging ports for wired phones, night illumination and data collection.

The latest flagship product "Monna" smart benches have also been recently sold, 14 since being introduced just a few days ago, 11 for Canada, 2 for Denmark and 1 for the Croatian Market so far. Including other recent exports to Poland and other locations the Include benches presence are now in 41 global markets.

More details about the company and products can be found on their website

Croatian Smart Benches Enter 35 Markets Including UK For First Time (Photos)...Croatian Smartphone Wins EISA Award &..."California Edition" Of Rimac C_Two Hypercar Unveiled

I'm finding all the non-celeb stabbings, shootings, botched robberies/drug deals and non-celeb gangs and road rage pointless news around here boring, so instead here's something different for a change of pace. This topic I did earlier this year and it's good to see the company and product is expanding, because like I said before there's lots of worse crap and garbage being exported and spreading around the world. Even though it's not one of the bigger more well known Croatian export products or companies like some of which I've touched upon, the main point is that the growing company that started very recently as a startup project out of a garage is developing a world respected reputation and making a quality green/clean tested and technologically modern product that's useful. (for instance, people in the cities where they're installed probably aren't going to say "Oh will you look at that! that's just f#%&*ing great, the government let in another one of those Croatian smart benches in the neighbourhood! Boo hiss get that trash out of here!, Just what we needed, things have gone too far now and something needs to be done!"), something useful and which will only grow and be more commonplace in the future.

And remember like I touched upon previously at my rimac-ctwo-electric-hypercar-officially-unvieled post, the oil and gas will be dripping out of the ground in just a few decades, and as oil production fizzles and reserves get depleted then this green/clean technology is the new approaching reality. (if you have any gas and oil sitting around in the garage or basement I would start finding a good hiding spot for it right after reading this post, hide it somewhere in the mountains).

As of now the company's benches and presence are known in 130 cities and municipalities across 5 continents. I reposted the original I did which explains with more information, the company's website is

Croatian smart benches now arriving in the UK. (Image:

The expansion of Croatian smart benches around the world continues at a fast pace.

Croatian company Include producers the Steora smart bench, a solar-powered bench with multiple functionalities, including wireless and USB charging, free Wi-Fi, ambient lighting, a cooling system for the seating, and 15 smart sensors.

This week the Solin-based company entered the UK market for the very first time.

“We are pleased to introduce our new partner for the UK market – All Urban Ltd from Sheffield. Offering a carefully sourced range of street furniture and lighting for high-quality developments around the UK, their assortment has been enriched with six models of Steora bench. This is our 35th opened market,” Include said.

And the official announcement on the All Urban Ltd website:

"We are thrilled to introduce the revolutionary Steora Smart Bench to the UK. A solar powered street bench providing USB charging for mobile phones and other devices.  Steora is the future of furniture. With multiple functionalities hidden by a beautiful and timeless design, Steora is the new generation street bench that has attracted attention across Europe and Australia. Energy efficiency and an alluring form makes Steora the smart choice for urban areas.

Steora gathers data on usage and climate, powered by renewable energy and backed by advanced controllers connected to a central technical support team. Strong, powder-coated steel is completely weather-resistant and vandal-resistant. The use of cutting-edge technology wrapped up in a sophisticated design makes Steora the world leader. Developed in 2016 Croatia by Ivan Mrvoš, the Steora Smart Bench has already been installed in smart cities, airports and workplaces across the globe."

One of the Include Steora smart benches in Perth, Australia, part of a project and contract with CleanAir Energy and Synergy, Western Australia’s largest energy provider. More information at

The small Croatian company has now placed more than 750 benches around the world, impressive for an idea that was started by young 22-year-old entrepreneur Ivan Mrvoš in his hometown of Solin near Split in 2015.

Currently, the benches, which are manufactured in Croatia, can already be found in all corners of the world, including Croatia, Australia, Germany, Slovakia, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, Hungary, USA, Portugal, Qatar, Dubai and in some of the Croatian BiH territories.

Recently Include presented a new model, Steora Urban. The highlighted feature of Steora Urban is a 19” super-bright LED display, which can be used for showing ads, videos, pictures or various info to the public (e.g. time/weather forecast/meteo data).

Nokia Install Croatian Clean Tech Smart Bench At HQ In Hungary

This very recent topic I first read about a couple of years ago when this very first smart bench (aka "pametna klupa" in Croatian) was designed, produced and installed in Croatia. Well since that time the very small company "Include", which is based in the historic town of Solin just outside of and overlooking the city of Split, has expanded and grown (and growing still) into a fairly successful "smart technology" company with a highly acclaimed quality "green technology" niche product/service for cities and urban areas especially (aka the future "smart cities" framework), so that's good to know.

This product gets the official prestigious "Croatianicity Seal of Approval". (click here for the fancy full prestigious effect). Maybe eventually down the road even being seen more often on this side of the pond, it would be a pretty nifty thing to have around, when the urge to start pixel-counting hits but the phone's battery is empty then there will be no reason not too. (actually these days with the amount of traveling and lurking around terrorists and subversive radicals, crypto-commies, muslim-rap cartel, weirdo cults, galavanting humanoids, televangelists, other religious bullshit religions and of course those self-loathing modern day neo-democratic bolshevik apparatchiks and their anarcho-utopianist nihilist gurus etc, then the CCTV version bench would probably be a good idea)

A brief introductory bio excerpt from the company's website...Include is a European hardware company, founded by a 22-year-old innovator Ivan Mrvoš, we earned recognition following a large investment in 2017, quickly becoming one of the best producers of smart street furniture in Europe. Based in Solin, Croatia, in a 2000 m² facility with 35 highly educated employees, we are recognized as a serious development IoT platform, growing rapidly in terms of company size, sales volume and global reach. With global footprint of more than 400 benches on 20 markets around the world, we are part of the most significant ‘Smart City’ projects and present in 125 cities and municipalities on 5 continents.

The whole story behind this venture and company in a way reminds me of the Rimac Automobili/Concept-One Hypercar beginnings story, which is another venture that is now a growing company and also with world respected quality smart/green high technology products. (the next generation and more advanced powerful version of the all-electric Concept hypercar is coming out soon too btw, probably at the Geneva Motor Show again, sneak peek here). And like I said there, this is another good example that positively promotes Croatian products and Croatia to the world as not just a place that is good for swimming in the summer, pastries, beers, castles and skiing, because it's not exporting just another new weird and/or strange fashions or fad clothing item, another weird food or fad food product, in no way whatsoever associated with any terrorism, fundamentals, migrating extremist views, theologies, philosophies or anything like that, it's not exporting yet another new disease or virus, and it's not just another pointless boring new viral dance move fad and there weren't even any celebs or carpool karaoke at anytime whatsoever involved with the design and production either, instead it's something actually useful. (and then on the flip side it's also good to know that any visitors to Croatia will have the smart bench options nearby instead of other weird non-bench options, that's the way I see it)

*According to some updated information after doing this post, in the middle of the year he also intends to open a company in America eventually which will be 100% owned by Include. The idea being to keep producing the benches in the Solin Croatia facilities, but assembled by the US company with the same "Include" quality control standards, so they can boast the "Made in USA" label and American jobs. For this he'll have to live 3-6 months in the US to put everything in place. (If he reads this before that happens, I can send a free itemized list of towns, neighbourhoods, ethnicities and even whole cities to completely avoid altogether, as well as stores, shops, fast food/restaurant chains, dentists and even particular names of people also which will make things much easier and problem-free during the transition process for himself and especially the future benches. If someone introduces himself as "Bro" (ie: "Hey bro: or "yo bro" or bro this and that etc, but you don't know them and they're not really or remotely your brother or even some pointless babbling religious nutso, just keep moving and doing whatever it is you were doing because it's a bad sign and not something you want or need in your life, don't even listen to a word of the bullshit coming out of their cakeholes (just start pixel-counting and pretend you don't speak English, lots of people do that all the time anyway, it's just mainly popular penitentiary lingo and among people who bounce balls for a living, and when they're around make sure your valuables, doors, windows etc are locked). DO NOT watch any sitcoms whatever you do because those are just actors with scripts that will distract you from reality and could cost you your life (aka fake and fiction, makeup, botox/plastic surgery/teethwork and special lighting, rubber/plastic bricks etc), I recommend instead watching some Jerry Springer, Maury Povich or that jacktard kreten Robert Irving show episodes before travelling, and maybe some Walmart Midnight Madness and some of those various arrests videos also for some insight and reality based tips and fashion options, probably carrying a handgun would be a good idea too and doing some target practice beforehand, see Croatian ice creams post tips, deleting channels from your tv remote control that broadcast fake subversive televangelists programs will be a great blessing also (they'll just want to brainwash you to become an identityless kreten clone and sing that gospel-rap verbal diarrhea for them, and how are you going to make quality green/clean smart benches then if you're traveling around to conventions and telethons gospel-rapping all the time about Abraham from Sumeria with his camels, golden lamps and magical dinosaurs? not many probably), even giving a fake name to people would be a good idea especially at store lineups..Bill, Kirk, Härved, Pierre, Todd, Larry or something like that, if worse comes to worse just say "Woah, I gotta go there's my cab, great talking to you!" and briskly exit, if you definitely have to get fast food get someone to go for you or just use the drive-thru like most people do anyway and especially at night, "when in Rome.." as the saying goes, I recommend carrying a handgun for just in case, probably a HS2000 would be good because the cops already use those, and shoot first ask questions later because the benches are way much more important and interesting. (You've got to stay positive, as long as you stay positive and prepared the benches will be alright). And even the French company JCDecaux, the world's leading provider of outdoor and urban advertising that reaches 400 million people daily, has expressed interest and contacted Ivan for meetings and future cooperation, basically it's all a very promising future for the growing company and their line of green and clean technology Steora smart benches.*

Anyway the below article pretty well explains everything, I added more pics than I needed to but it just looked cool seeing this new smart/green-technology Croatian product at different locations, more information and media information HERE or just hit the official company website and links below:

Finnish multinational communications company Nokia has installed a Croatian smart bench in front of their main office in Hungary.

Nokia Hungary installed the first Steora smart bench, produced by Solin-based company Include, in front of their main office in Budapest.

“This solar-powered Steora Standard model provides USB and wireless charging, a free Wi-Fi hotspot, street light at night, cooling system for summer days, 15 sensors that are tracking everything around the bench (e.g. weather/meteo data) and a main "Dashboard" – web application that collects data from every bench in real time,” Include said.

The new smart bench at Nokia’s main office in Hungary means that the small Croatian company has now placed more than 450 benches in 23 countries, impressive for an idea that was started by young entrepreneur Ivan Mrvoš in his hometown of Solin near Split in 2015.

Currently, the benches, which are manufactured in Croatia, can now be found in all corners of the world, including Australia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Slovakia, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, USA, Albania, Switzerland, Qatar Portugal, Syria and Dubai, as well as in Hong Kong and in front of the European Parliament building in Strasbourg, and other countries.

After only a few years there are now Include Steora benches in 25 cities and towns across Croatia, over 50 in Zagreb alone, and especially for travelers most conveniently located at major airports such as in Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik and popular coastal areas.

Steora smart bench in the city of Split. More Steora smart benches are on their way to Australia, similarly like in Croatia the benches have proven to be especially popular and convenient along high traffic coastal locations in the summer (tourist areas/parks/squares/beaches/marinas). In the next 5 years 2,700 benches will be exported to Australia alone as part of an already signed nifty 5.5 million Euro contract. The benches can function normally up to 5 days without direct sun exposure before the first features start to shut down to save the battery, the last thing that would shut down are USB charging ports. 15 sensors inside Steora monitor everything that happens on and around the bench, each second sensors gather data about air parameters, bench usage and system state and all gathered information is available for customers through the dashboard which will also show you where any other smart benches are located and their available data. Recently Include presented the Steora® Urban – (more detailed info here), described as the most advanced street bench in the world and designed for highly frequented areas such as city streets, squares, and other urban locations.

Steora smart benches in the historical capital of Bohemia, Prague, Czech Republic are a few of about 30 in the country already, and a further 120 benches have been ordered for this year including exporting into Slovakia where they were highly praised by the mayor and city council of Bratislava after a successful test period. (

One of the first Steora benches installed in Slovakia at the University of Žilina grounds. (

One of over 30 smart benches in 10 cities across Sweden also, and a recent partnership agreement with the renowned Scandinavian sustainable city greentech solutions company EWF ECO AB and distributor for Bigbelly to be the exclusive distributor in Sweden, Norway and Finland to deliver another 250 benches this year. The Include Steora CCTV version is equipped with 4 cameras, one on each side of the bench creating a 360° live stream then available online in real-time. Cameras also have night recording with integrated infrared light. More information at

Highlighted feature of the Steora Urban version is a 19” super-bright LED display which can be used for showing various alternating ads, videos, pictures or other information to the public. (weather/meteo data, various up to the minute Royals babies and fashion updates, heart-wrenching celeb scandals and crises updates etc)

Steora® Urban version smart benches, in Croatia the largest concentration of benches is in the capital city Zagreb with over 50 and at cities and towns along the coast, all featuring USB and wireless charging, a free Wi-Fi hotspot, street light at night, cooling system for summer days, 15 sensors that track everything around the bench (e.g. weather/meteo data/night recording camera/intruder death lasers etc) and a main information Dashboard accessible by the customer that are also connected to other benches and their data. (Photos:

One of the Include Steora benches in the city of Dubrovnik, in just the first 4 months of 2017 the benches in Croatia all together produced more than 500kWh of clean electric energy, which means that CO2 emissions were reduced by more than 275 kilograms.

An example of some of the dashboard features and real-time information/options available. Overview of all locations where Steora benches are installed, reporting information on the number of charged devices, reporting information on the number of WiFi users and their internet consumption, remote control of internet access (including changing passwords), remote control of ambient lights and charging signal lights (including setting times to turn the lights on and off automatically), real-time access to the Batcave main computer database-management system, providing weather info like a mini meteo station (measuring humidity, temperature, and precipitation in the area), and much more. The CCTV version even comes with a nifty 4 cameras on each side with 360 ° live streaming and added security/surveillance.

Include Steora benches in the city of Split, a good thing to know is that the bench's solar panels continuously recharge the batteries with no disruption even while people are sitting on them. (It would basically have to be completely covered and sealed in a box with no light coming through to not recharge). Also I checked and they're weather resistant and waterproof for the autumn, spring and winter months. (Photo:

A few more pics from and for contrast from various locations just for the hell of it, seen above some newly installed smart benches in the northeastern town of Belišće near Osijek...

At the Dubrovnik upper cable cars station...

Word on the street is that some of the benches in Croatia have become meeting places for shady roaming and lurking suspicious "Steora Bench Gangs" so beware...

Another Steora bench in Olomouc, Czech Republic, being seen sitting on a Steora bench is almost like being a celeb these days (before they were forced to sit on that other bench and just stare at the ground looking like vagrant fentanyl freaks all pathetic and absurd with no justifiable reason to even live or exist, but look at them now they have a life purpose and reason to exist again)...

However besides the various solar powered versions of benches available there is also the "Steora E" version, which connects directly to the AC power grid and having the same Wi-Fi and wireless/charging technological features so it can be used indoors, such as a Walmart lobby area, bingo hall, video rental shop etc...

Another one in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia...

In Melbourne Australia...

In Lugano Switzerland, the swans seem to not mind the new benches either, good to know.

The highlighted feature of the Steora Urban is a 19” super-bright LED display, which can be used for showing ads, videos, pictures, such as lingerie/bikini, vitamins, colognes, hair products, sunscreen, beverages adds etc, or various useful information to the public (e.g. weather forecast, heart-wrenching celeb scandals and crises updates etc).

Include Steora and company founder Ivan Mrvoš in Strasbourg, another definite boost to the company's profile and the Include Steora bench quality reputation was when it was chosen to be installed in front of the EU Parliament in Strasbourg just last year, so it's probably not a crappy piece of shit junk most likely. (Photo: HINA/Andrina Luic)

Currently in Croatia the Steora smart benches are mostly found in and around the capital city Zagreb with over 50 and along the coastal cities and towns, however their numbers and locations are growing annually since the very first bench was installed only in 2016. (and with the amount of bus stops, libraries, malls, Ikea's and coffee shops in the world the possibilities are endless). To see where all the current Include Steora benches are found in the world so far, click onto the Include location map.

Locations where Include Steora smart benches are currently installed, I'm not some heavyweight computer nerd geek or solar panels expert (I just dabble with dark energy and dark matter plasma ionizers and photon pulse wave-packet beams once in a while), but I just like this trend and the product. Actual useful things being exported to other continents, because like I said there's way more pointless crap being exported globally these days. As of now the purchase contracts are with various city and local municipality governments, but the plans are to also sell them directly to any individual customers in the near future.

"Include" company background/product info and behind the scenes from 2016.

*Update October 13, 2018

And just a few months later the news gets even better for the product, company and also importantly the green/smart technology behind it, as Include has been named the fastest growing company of Central Europe in the Rising Stars category by the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program. Croatian Hangar18 "NOA N10" Wins EISA Best Buy Smartphone Award for 2018

The Croatian IT company Hangar18 recently won their 2nd prestigious EISA award for their NOA Element series N10 smartphone. More information at

And here's a quick related mention since already on the topic of the internet, Wi-Fi, smart technology and smartphones, and probably something many probably didn't know so I should do this story. I posted previously about Croatian smartphone and computer companies but this one especially over the past few years has been particularly notable and receiving acclaim and even winning awards lately. (and now in a perfect world best case scenario someone can jump into their Croatian Rimac hypercar, then drive around and stop somewhere to rest and sit on a Croatian smart bench and simultaneously charge and surf the web on their Croatian smartphone, wow it sounds impossible but it could happen)

Anyway, the Croatian IT company Hangar18 recently became an EISA Best Buy Smartphone World Winner again for their Element NOA series N10 smartphone. Recognized as a device that offers the best user value in regards to the price/quality ratio it even had strong competition in the category from other smartphone manufacturers such as Huawei, LG, Honor, Nokia and Samsung who also applied for the EISA prize.

*(EISA is the European Imaging and Sound Association which is a collaboration between 53 different prestigious multimedia and tech magazines from 25 countries, that offer tests of cameras, video cameras, audio equipment, mobile phones etc, established in 1982, see for the full rundown)*

"Hangar18" was founded in 2005 in the town of Koprivnica which is located in northwestern Croatia near the Hungarian  border. In 2014 the company launched its own brand of smartphone, the Hangar18 NOA. That first year they sold 80,000 smartphones and soon became a leading smart phone manufacturer in the Central European market, later spreading also into the southeastern market and especially selling well in Montenegro. The chief brand of Hangar18 is NOA, a line of premium affordable smartphones in the price range from 100 to 400 euro and which has made great inroads in this field during the last five years. The NOA Element series are NOA N1, NOA N7 and NOA N10.

Just last year their smartphone model NOA H10le (photo below) was also awarded the Best Buy Smartphone Award for 2017. This NOA N10 is the new "flagship" or top model for 2018 and it comes with state of the art features and capabilities that much more expensive brand names have but without the hefty price tag. Thanks to a special notched screen the N10 has exceptional video viewing and enjoying music enhanced with DTS sound technology.

Recognition of the quality of the Hangar18 smartphones grew especially after the introduction of the Element NOA series at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona last year (seen above), when the NOA H10le model was premiered and also won the first EISA award for the company brand.

A few of the latest NOA N10 outstanding features is three 16MP shooters, in the back 16+16 MP camera with the latest dual Sony IMX 499 sensor, which can through the use of oversampling technology create photos up to 96 MP. A 6.18 screen in FHD+ resolution at 1080×2246, with a 19:9 ratio, 3600 mAh lithium battery, built in 4 GBs of RAM memory and 64 GB of data storage, expandable to 256 GB with a memory card, installed Android 8.1 OS, two SIM cards slots, ultralight durable ceramic casing, fingerprint sensor and Face ID facial recognition technology feature to control access to phone, and the front 16 MP selfie camera supports the Face Beauty functions.

This growing Croatian tech company designs, developes and with high quality control standards manufactures award winning, affordable, premium-looking and feature-packed mid-range handsets to be sold in Croatia and a growing list of European countries, (free shipping to any country in Europe), NOA also offers excellent extended support and a full coverage guarantee up to 2 years, which means they stand 100% behind their product after customer purchase.

EISA has members in 30 countries from Europe, Australia and the United States, and recently from Canada, Japan, India and China. For over 35 years this organization has selected the best consumer electronics products every year. Over 50 magazines that specialize in covering all aspects of areas such as audio, video, home cinema, automotive, photographic and mobile technology, decide which devices will get EISA awards. This  NOA N10 smartphone was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress, the largest mobile trade fair in Barcelona in late February, and then at the largest ICT fair CEBIT in Hannover in June 2018.

Members for the "Mobile Devices" category are editors of distinguished "tech" magazines from 11 countries: Bulgaria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Greece, Croatia, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Serbia, Spain and Sweden. On the 23rd May 2018 is when the two NOA smartphone models - N7 and N10 were presented to the group.

"We are especially pleased that NOA smartphone was named Best Buy Smartphone for the second year in a row by the world's EISA organization. This great acknowledgment confirms the NOA brand as the market leader in the "affordable premium" category. The biggest breakthrough was made on camera and user experience, so Noah N10 features great photos that you can capture at a resolution of up to 96 MP. We believe that the camera, the NOA Premim Care guarantee and the excellent design of this device were key factors in choosing the N10 model for the EISA Best Buy Award." stated Mario Kralj, owner and CEO of Hangar 18, the company from Koprivnica in Croatia which producers the NOA brand smartphones.

A few of the various Hangar18 stores found throughout the country, with the "Gaming Arena" and a regular store.

Going by the number of units sold in Croatia, they are now behind only Samsung and Apple, not bad for an only 4 year serious venture into the smartphone market. Hangar18 sold about 180,000 NOA mobile phones in Croatia in 2016, over 500,000 phones exported to 14 countries in 2017 and are planning a million smartphones to be sold in 2018. Hangar18 invested over 100 million Croatian Kuna in product development and market expansion and even plan on entering the foreign eastern markets of the Balkans region, Turkey and the Middle East. Thanks to its NOA line of mobile phones, it took only three years for Hangar18 to enter the Deloitte Top 50 of the fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe.

But things are sure to get get even more interesting in the near future. Besides winning the EISA award, Hangar18 representatives made over 200 contacts and had more than 50 business meetings during the recent CeBIT exhibition in Germany. Mario Kralj, owner and CEO of Hangar18 said...

"This year's CeBIT exhibition was a great success for us. The goal was to establish additional contacts with potential distributors and to present the top of the NOA brand line. We have made over 200 new contacts, and we're especially pleased with the fact that a large number of them were interested in our latest line of products, LED TVs. Regarding our smartphones, we have presented our top of the line devices, along with our new models. We have arranged deals with Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Spanish and Canary Island distributors, while Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be under the care of our future office in Germany."

The Hangar18 NOA series stall at the CeBIT exhibition in Hannover Germany last month.

The official statement from the official EISA website (

..."When it comes to spending the least amount of money without compromising on performance, the NOA N10 has the competition beat. Its modern design with reflective finish and trendy 19:9 Full HD+ screen resolution join forces with impressive features including DTS Sound technology and a dual camera system on the rear. The latter combines two 16-megapixel Sony IMX499 sensors and the option to oversample images up to an impressive 96-megapixel resolution. Furthermore, the device comes with NOA’s ‘Premium Care’ warranty that includes repair against even user-inflicted damage within the first year – making it unique at the price. The cost may be decidedly mid-range, but the performance is anything but". More information about this N10 model available at their official website

I should note that Hangar18 is also behind a wide range of smart televisions (under the "NOA VISION" brand name) and tablets as well as the smartphones, more info at their website.

...& Croatian Manufactured Rimac Automobili C_Two Hypercar Invades California (aka "California Edition C_Two")

What the heck here's an update of a few sneak peek pics from a few days later, since I already mentioned the Rimac C_Two hypercar at the beginning of this post. A week before the famous series of automotive events in Monterey, a new "California Edition Rimac C_Two" showed up in Los Angeles, in the Petersen Automotive Museum as part of a West Coast launch. This gets a 2 thumbs up from me, I like the vibrant turquoise/azure/teal-ish blue color paint job, it suits the whole California ambiance and feel I think, and lots of Croatian coastal areas are very similar to Malibu anyway (sort of like that toothpaste color so that's good, the whole fresh minty breathe and no plaque thing, it's a good marketing angle and I think there's Tic Tacs in that color too). This one would definitely be good for going to the hockey or ball game, tennis and surfing events, bowling then fish & chips or tacos later etc, heck even driving to the ski slopes in the winter. I could easily see this being used in a movie too (but not a typical 007 type movie, instead something more hardcore with a cool kick-ass Industrial/Ebm/Electro/Darkwave film soundtrack, (including even a cover version of a Motley Crue song to really mess with people's minds down at the donut shop) and maybe starring Keanu Reeves, Tom Hardy, Uma Thurman (yep I Googled around she's still alive) and Megan Fox and probably with lots of rooftop chases, hang gliding, (can you imagine Megan Fox hang gliding over Los Angeles? wow that would be hot!), various time travelling mutant humanoids, Illuminati subversives, shape-shifting crypto-commie terrorists and of course lotsa explosions and car chases). What do you think? Would this California edition C_Two be good for grabbing some spicy food, or fish & chips in after bowling or going to the ski slopes?
